1943   June 7: borne in San Carlo, Val Bavona (Valle Maggia, Ticino)
1948-60   Bienne: attends schools (French as first language)
1956   Starts with painting and sculpture work
1958-59   Attends the School of Applied Arts in Bienne
1959-60   Starts playing jazz
Internship with the artist Marcel Wyss in Bern
1961   Returns to Valle Maggia,
where he works as a painter and sculptor.
he builds his first atelier on a ruin
1964   Meets Hedda Lafranca
1965   Opens a workshop for hand-printing techniques in Locarno

1971   Starts of the Fracass N.O. Jazz-band with Danilo Moccia,
Brenno Boccadoro and other artists
1973   Transforms an old, deserted sawmill in Collinasca
into a paper mill, which he uses after 1980
